Mitsuhiro Ikeda
Born 1969. Graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Nihon University, eventually completing a master's course at Tokyo University of the Arts. Did a stay in Sweden in '08 as part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' overseas training program for budding artists. Specializes in utilizing public space and creating/presenting artwork with the approach of bringing little occurrences to everyday life. Recent exhibitions include the "Echigo-Tsumari Triennale" (Niigata) in '03 and '06, "Akasaka Art Flower '08" at the former Akasaka Elementary School (Tokyo), and the "Mimakuru Miracle" at the Fuchu City Art Gallery (also Tokyo) in '10. Also does workshops as a unit with wife Mizue Ogiso.
